    There are so many mysteries on the island, it feels like you’re never going to get any answers. Is there a way off the island? Can the others on the island be trusted? And are dead people really speaking to the living? Just when the questions make your head start to spin, you remember that Leonardo DiCaprio wasn’t on a plane that crashed and you’re not watching “Lost,” you’re watching Shutter Island.

  • Prince of Persia

    The studio should rethink the marketing for Prince of Persia and simply lead with Jake Gyllenhaal’s bare chest. That’s about the most enticing aspect of the upcoming film, judging from the trailer. A prettier version of The Mummy looks to be all that’s in store for audiences come May 2010.

    Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Di Caprio reunite after their Departed days for what look’s like a top-rate thriller/scare/drama. Shutter Island brings to mind Halle Berry’s mental institution scare, Gothika (everyday-guard John Carroll Lynch is in both, even), but Scorsese’s tail looks far more refined from the view of this trailer.
