If you tried accessing Popscorn the last couple of mornings, you might have seen the site in “Maintenance” mode. And for good reason. We’ve tweaked a few things that will hopefully make the content that much easier to navigate, and make room for some exciting new sections.

Some of the updates include:

1) A streamlined menu bar across the top. Now you can quickly get to a contact form, for instance, and Popscorn’s various online social channels (e.g., Twitter, Facebook)

2) The FIRST LOOKS carousel. Since trailers pop up almost every day, we decided to put our commentary on them front and center, directly below the week’s latest review. And give you an oh-so-nifty way to navigate them.

3) To keep pace with the latest technologies and content distribution, we added the very new Wibiya toolbar along the bottom of the site. The tool is just mean to augment the site’s existing features and navigation, really, and is in BETA mode at the moment. So there might be wonkiness with it, but try it out and let us know what you think.
